• Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes
• Share your account with others

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

• Upload sexually explicit or inappropriate content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others

• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service

4.2 Event Conduct

When organizing or attending events, you agree to:

• Provide accurate event information
• Respect other attendees and organizers
• Follow event rules and guidelines
• Be present at events you've confirmed attendance for
• Cancel your attendance with reasonable notice if you cannot attend
• Report any safety concerns or inappropriate behavior

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Atserai ("User Content"). However, by posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content
• Display your content to other users
• Create derivative works for platform improvement
• Use your content for promotional purposes (with attribution)

5.2 Content Standards

All User Content must:

• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Not infringe on third-party rights
• Be appropriate for a diverse audience
• Accurately represent events and activities

5.3 Our Intellectual Property

Atserai and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Reverse engineer or decompile the Service

7. Events and Meetups

7.1 Event Creation

Event organizers must:

• Provide accurate event details (location, time, description)
• Set clear expectations and requirements
• Respond to join requests in a timely manner
• Cancel events with adequate notice if necessary
• Ensure event locations are safe and accessible

7.2 Event Attendance

When joining events, users must:

• Commit to attending confirmed events
• Arrive on time and prepared
• Respect event guidelines and other attendees
• Communicate with organizers if issues arise

7.3 Liability and Risks

8. Location Services and Directions

Atserai provides location-based features and directions to events. You acknowledge that:

• Location data may not always be accurate
• Directions are provided for convenience only
• You are responsible for your own navigation and safety
• We are not liable for errors in location data or directions

9. Notifications and Communications

By using Atserai, you consent to receive:

• Event notifications and reminders
• Messages from other users
• Service updates and announcements
• Promotional communications (which you can opt out of)

You can manage your notification preferences in your account settings.

10. Moderation and Enforcement

10.1 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Monitor and review User Content
• Remove content that violates these Terms
• Investigate reports of misconduct
• Take action against users who violate these Terms

10.2 Enforcement Actions

If you violate these Terms, we may:

• Temporarily suspend your account
• Permanently ban your account
• Remove your content
• Report illegal activity to authorities

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATSERAI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or errors
• Actions or conduct of users or third parties
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Atserai and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service

14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through our Account Deletion process.

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• Your account is inactive for an extended period
• We believe your use of the Service poses a risk to us or other users
• Required by law or legal process

14.3 Effect of Termination

• Your access to the Service will be revoked
